Diversity can lift everyone

If diversity is a strength, are we in danger of making it a weakness?

I think diversity is neither a strength nor a weakness by itself. It is a brute fact of nature, especially so in the Issaquah School District. It is a lived reality for all of us. What we make of it is up to us, and I think we need to hold educators accountable to utilize this diversity to improve student outcomes across the board.
