Endorsements
Political Endorsements matter less when it's a movement
I didn't seek endorsements from local politicians or special interest groups. My most meaningful endorsements come from people I met at their doorsteps - more than 4,000 door-to-door conversations in all - including parents, teachers, and grandparents who shared their struggles and hopes.
They are my motivation. A movement.
Because this is not just a campaign.
It's a call for honesty, accountability, and excellence — led by ordinary people who care deeply about their children and their community.

What is it like to knock on more than 4,000 doors?
In one sentence, it changed me. Only when I began to knock on doors did I realize the true extent of the problems.

I was nervous at first. But thank God, my desire to know the truth was stronger than my nervousness.
So I began — one door at a time.

When I started, I was worried about falling high school test scores. However, as I listened, I discovered that the crisis begins earlier in middle school, where reading and writing skills are being neglected.
I heard about cyberbullying and porn on buses and hallways, children being withdrawn because they no longer felt safe. When I checked the district's own data, it matched exactly what parents had been telling me — so I made it part of my campaign.

The people I met yesterday gave me the strength to knock on doors today.

A couple moving to Idaho after 15 years on the same street as the Board President — because they'd lost faith in the schools.

A single mother in Renton, who showed me how her disabled daughter's signature was forged to deny her therapy.

A surgeon, afraid to complain to the high school principal for fear of retaliation against his daughter.
I met heartbroken teachers and exhausted parents.
A few cried. Many thanked me. Some invited me in for tea.
That's when I discovered the true purpose of running — even for a volunteer position like School Board Director.
It is to channel the voice of the people — to understand what it means to be a parent, a teacher, a homeowner in our community — and to turn that understanding into action.
They are my endorsements.
Their voices live in me now.
And so, I have become their voice.
