About Me
Hi folks — I’m a long-time resident of Newcastle Highlands and a first-generation immigrant. I earned my B.S. in Engineering in India. I came to the United States on a research scholarship to pursue my Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University.

When I first arrived at Stanford, surrounded by some of the brightest minds from across the country, I felt like an impostor. But that experience also deepened my respect for what made America’s education system the best in the world — its commitment to merit, opportunity, and excellence. That’s the future I want for every child — where each of them can climb their own ladder of excellence.
With over 20 years of experience as an engineering and program manager at Amazon, Google, and other firms, I now channel my energy into championing education reform and academic excellence. My advocacy began close to home, with my own children — each with unique needs and gifts. Through them, I’ve come to believe sincerely in the power of personalized education, intellectual freedom, and the pursuit of excellence for every student.
